Plymouth Railway Station is a short walk from Sutton Harbour and there are regular train services from Plymouth to every major UK city, including daily direct services to London Paddington with Great Western Railway.

Cross channel ferries are operated by Brittany Ferries to France and Spain from the port at Millbay, a 15-minute walk from the city centre.

Exeter Airport is a 45-minute drive away with regular international and UK services.
